Applying to The Hill School

Welcome to The Hill School’s online application process. Please note that completed applications are due by January 31. Applications received after that date will be considered as space permits. If you have any questions as you complete the admission process, please do not hesitate to contact The Hill School Admission Office admission@thehill.org or 610-326-1000, ext. 7251.

1. Complete your entire application process using our online application form or the Standard Application Online (SAO).

Please complete only ONE of these application processes. Applicants who use our online application will create a Hill online account which will enable them to track the status of the application and receive an admission decision. Applicants who submit an application through SAO will be sent an email with a link to their Hill online account which will enable them to track the status of the application and receive an admission decision.

2. Take the SSAT (Secondary School Admission Test), ISEE, PSAT, or SAT or ACT, as an Admission Test.

Applicants must take the Secondary School Admission Test (SSAT). Please make sure that test scores are sent directly to The Hill School. Our school code is 3898. Please register for the October, November, December, or January test dates, as it takes approximately three weeks to receive the results. Permission may be granted for students to submit a February test date. Applicants may register online for the SSAT here.
 
The Hill School also accepts score results of the Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE). Our school code for the ISEE is 395663Register for the ISEE here.
 
Applicants submitting PSAT, SAT, or ACT results should email a pdf or screenshot of the results to admission@thehill.org.

3. Required Interview with an Admission Officer.

We encourage all applicants to visit The Hill School either before or after submitting application materials. You may schedule a visit at your convenience by completing our online interview request form or calling the Admission Office at 610-326-1000, ext. 7251.
