Named for their location on far side of campus across Beech Street, the Far Fields are a five-minute walk from a student’s dorm room. This large area swarms with students every fall and spring day when sports practice begins at 4:00. In the fall, there are multiple soccer and field hockey fields, and a football practice field. The cross county teams also utilize the Far Fields to do interval work. In the spring, there are two baseball fields, two softball fields, and six lacrosse fields.
Both varsity and sub-varsity teams have their practice fields located at the Far Fields during the fall and spring seasons. Sub-varsity teams play their games at the Far Fields, as well.
