| Photos of the Week: September 18-25, 2011
|
| The week kicked off with members of the fourth form placing the pinwheels they made with Ms. Naomi Natale the previous week along the path on the Quad for International Peace Day, which was September 21. The following day, two members of The Green Initiative, Kathleen Smith ’12 and Emma Woodcock ’12 spoke in Chapel. The Green Initiative is designed to raise awareness of and participation in environmental sustainability throughout campus. During the School Meeting time on Wednesday, students held the annual Club Fair in the Courtyard. The Club Fair allows students the opportunity to learn about and sign up for the numerous student-run clubs on campus by talking to the students who run each respective club. On Friday evening, nationally acclaimed actor and performer Mr. Frank Runyeon ’71 returned to campus to deliver his entertaining presentation “Hollywood and faith: the struggle to live faithfully in the media age” to the sixth form. Mr Runyeon added a Hill twist to his speech by tying it in to the School’s motto, “Whatsoever Things Are True.” |
