As we have entered the final 10 days of the fall athletics season, here is a glimpse of where our varsity teams stand as they prepare for Hill-Lawrenceville Day on Saturday, November 12, and a list of their remaining home games:
- Boys' and girls' cross country will run at the MAPL Championships at Peddie on Sunday, November 6.
- Field hockey was elimintaed from PAISAA contention with a heart-breaking 1-0 loss at Germantown Academy yesterday, showing tremendous progress from their early season 6-3 loss to GA. They have two remaining home games: Friday, November 4 vs. Hun at 3 p.m., and Wednesday, November 9 vs. Blair Academy at 3 p.m.
- Football looks to bounce back from last week's loss to Blair Academy as they host Hun School in a huge MAPL game on Sunday, November 6 at 12:30 p.m. With a 2-1 MAPL record, the team is still in contention for the MAPL championship, as every MAPL team has at least one loss. The Hun game is the team's final home game of the season.
- Boys' golf will compete in the PAISAA Championship on Monday, November 7 at Brookside Country Club. It is the team's final competition of the year, as Lawrenceville only plays a spring golf schedule.
- Boys' and girls' soccer both ride impressive unbeaten streaks into today's MAPL matches against Hun School (3 p.m. start). Both teams are 3-0 in the MAPL with two MAPL matches remaining: Hun and Lawrenceville. Tomorrow, both teams will host PAISAA quarterfinal matches at 3:30 p.m. as the girls' will face Germantown Friends School and the boys' will take on Episcopal Academy.
