Quinn Davis '12 wins boys' cross country MAPL Championship
Varsity boys' cross country captain Quinn Davis '12 added another strong performance to his outstanding season with a first place finish at the MAPL Championship race at Peddie on Sunday, November 6.  Quinn cruised to victory, defeating the second-place finisher by 25 seconds with a time of 15:55, making him one of just five people to break 16 minutes at the MAPL Championship in the 14-year history of the race.  The boys' placed fourth overall out of six teams at the meet.  Rounding out the scoring for Hill were Luke Anderson '14 (17th), Jordan Trout '14 (18th), Steve Breeding '15 (29th), and Duncan Saunders '12 (31st).
 
The varsity girls' team also placed fourth out of six teams.  Third-former Monica Redfern finished eighth overall with a time of 21:11 - the eighth fastest run in program history at the MAPL Championship - to lead the girls' team.  Monica was followed closely by Kathryn Walsh '12, who finished 11th with a time of 21:37.  Other scorers for the girls' were Bronwyn Dewey '13 in 22nd, and Kim Breeding '13 and Andie Hagemeier '12 in 24th and 25th, respectively.
 
The cross country teams will finish their seasons on Saturday, November 12 at Lawrenceville.  The boys' run at 1:30 p.m., and the girls' run at 2 p.m.
