On Monday, October 17 and Tuesday, October 18, all Hill School students enrolled in Biology I and Biology II participated in a
DNA extraction lab in a mobile science lab provided by the J. Craig Venter Institute Discover Genomics! Mobile Laboratory. The lab was arranged by Mr. Ted Danforth '44, who is on the Institute's Board of Trustees.
Fifth and sixth form students participated in the final
College Night of the fall on Tuesday, October 18. Representatives from more than 20 colleges and universities visited campus to speak with students about their respective institutions.
On Wednesday evening and again for parents on Friday, acclaimed teen relationship expert Ms. Rosalind Wiseman addressed the Hill community about issues that are an inevitable part of boarding school life.

Junior Prize Day was held on Thursday evening. Returning members of the fourth, fifth, and sixth forms were recognized for their outstanding academic achievements during the 2010-11 school year.
The main highlight of the week was
Parents’ Weekend. More than 550 parents, siblings, and other family members visited campus on Friday, October 21, and Saturday, October 22 for a weekend full of activities.
