Calendar year-end is one of the most important times of year for The Hill School’s annual fund, The Hill Fund. As of December 31, 2011, The Hill Fund is recording $1.5 million in gifts and pledges against our $2.6 million goal, making this the best start to our annual fund ever! This year’s $2.6 million goal is an increase of $200,000 from last year’s goal of $2.4 million. The Hill Fund’s gift revenue annually accounts for 10% of the School’s operating budget.
The Hill also is pleased to announce that Virginia Yinger, who has been serving as acting director of The Hill Fund since October 2011 (as associate director prior to that date), has been named the new director of The Hill Fund. Virginia has played an integral role in the success of this year’s The Hill Fund and the School is confident that her commitment and passion for The Hill will help us reach our goal.
We want to thank all of our alumni, parents, grandparents, faculty, staff, and friends who already have made a gift to The Hill Fund this year. Everyone who supports the Fund is part of this success and is helping the School meet our mission of preparing our students for college, career, and life. If you have not yet contributed to The Hill Fund, but would like to support our great School,
you may make a gift online here.
