Will An '13 (Collegeville, Pa.) Varsity Swimming & Diving
Will battled back from illness and performed impressively this past week. He recorded best times in all three events he swam, including a remarkable 13-second improvement in the 200 Freestyle. His versatility is tremendous, being able to swim in any event, without a complaint.

Jake Eckhart '13 (Pottstown, Pa.) Varsity Boys’ Squash
Always one to leave it all on the court, Jake pulled out a tough five game victory against a strong Mercersburg opponent, giving Hill a chance at a 4-3 victory. In his second match of the day, he showed the same intensity and focus dispatching his opponent in three games. His leadership and drive were a positive force within The Hill squad.

Julia Hernan '15 (Royersford, Pa.) JV Girls’ Basketball
With tremendous energy and unmatched determination, Julia scored 12 of the team’s 26 points in their win against Hun on Saturday, leading the team on both ends of the floor with 6 steals, 3 rebounds and 3 assists.

Deanna Mayza '13 (Pennsburg, Pa.) Varsity Girls’ Basketball
Deanna averaged 21.0 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 4.2 assists in three games this week. In the first two MAPL games of the season, she scored 21 points against Lawrenceville and 23 against Hun to help lead Hill to a 2-0 start in MAPL play.

Sam Norton '15 (Collegeville, Pa.) JV Boys’ Basketball
Sam went off for 27 points in an exciting overtime victory against MAPL rival Hun over the weekend.

Margaret Smith '14 (Spring City, Pa.) Varsity Girls’ Squash
In only her second year of play, Margaret’s consistent hard work and extra time on the courts have earned her the #2 spot on the varsity team. Against Shady Side Academy, Margaret’s hustle and “refuse to lose” attitude gave her the edge she needed to win the fifth and deciding game 14-12.
