The Hill School recently announced its cast list for the upcoming spring play, The Crucible, which will be held in the Center For The Arts (CFTA) Theatre at 7:30 p.m. from Wednesday, May 23 through Friday, May 25. Admission is free and open to the public.
The Crucible was written in 1952 by American playwright Arthur Miller and is based on the Salem Witch Trials that occurred in Massachusetts in the late 1600s, and is one of the favorite plays of Director Mr. Burt Merriam.
"I chose The Crucible to be this year's spring play because it's one of my favorites, and the timing to perform it seemed right," Merriam said. "I was in two productions of it myself and always wanted to direct it. We have a very strong, dedicated cast this year. I think it will be a spectacular performance."
