On Wednesday, March 21, 2012, Headmaster David R. Dougherty dedicated the special wall honoring Hill School staff members, past and present, who have served the School for 25 years or more. The wall was
unveiled in October of 2011 and formally dedicated this afternoon at a special reception for current staff members.
The display hangs in the Academic Center's Map Room, opposite the 25-Year Faculty Wall which honors faculty members with 25 years or more service to The Hill.
Headmaster Dougherty thanked all Hill staff for their commitment to serving our students and our school. He noted the Map Room, decorated with both the 25-year Staff and Faculty walls, stands for “community, service, longevity, and loyalty.”
Assistant Headmaster for Academics Ryckman Walbridge helped envision the idea for both of the walls. Today, he thanked Margie Neiswender, instructor of the arts; Ellen Nelson, instructor of the arts; Louis Jeffries, librarian; and Willis Pierre; faculty
emeritus, for all their help in creating this special commemoration.
There are 12 current staff members who are honored on the wall for their 25 years or more of service. They include:
Joe Borysowski, athletics department
Dave Bush, grounds crew
Ronald "Skip" Derecola, security
Roland "Bud" Johnson, grounds crew

Kim Marburger, admission office
Carol McAlpin, deans' office
