Jazz Ensemble participates in local jazz festival |

On Saturday, March 30, 2012, The Hill School Jazz Ensemble participated in the Grove Jazz Festival at Pottsgrove Middle School. Hill’s Jazz Ensemble was one of six ensembles participating in the festival the Ensembles were judged by area jazz musicians on the quality of tone, stylistic interpretation, rhythm, precision, dynamics and solos. Our Jazz Ensemble earned an “Outstanding” rating, and Alex Evans ’12 received an award as one of the best soloists of the evening. Congratulations! |
