Campus was full of activity during this shortened week. On Monday, April 2, and Tuesday, April 3, the School hosted the final two Admission Revisit Days for the families of newly accepted students. Visiting students were paired with a current Hill student with whom they attended classes, as well as a variety of other activities including seated lunch in Hill's Dining Room and an Extracurricular Fair. Parents attended a number of special programs throughout the day, including a luncheon with current Hill parents.
On Tuesday, April 3, students and faculty enjoyed the first dorm cookout of the spring on a beautiful evening in place of the usual Tuesday seated dinner. The dining hall provided typical picnic foods for each dorm to prepare, and students took advantage of the nice weather to play games such as Frisbee, soccer, and volleyball during the cookout.
During the School Meeting period on Wednesday, April 4, each form gathered individually to listen to speeches from students running for Student Government Association and Honor Council positions for the 2012-13 school year. Following a half day of classes on Thursday, April 5, students departed for the spring long weekend.
