Hadley Knapp ’13 received a Silver Key Award from the 2011-12 Scholastic Art and Writing Awards for a her original pencil drawing. The Silver Key is the second highest level of recognition at the regional level, as only 10 to 15 percent of all entries from the Philadelphia region are bestowed the honor of a Silver Key
Christina Chase ’12 was one of 16 young artists honored by the Southern Teachers Agency as part of their third annual Student Art Contest. Christina’s beautiful water color painting of The Hill School’s Alumni Chapel doors received an honorable mention. The works by the 12 winning artists, and four honorable mention artists, will be printed in the Agency’s 2012-13 academic-year calendar, which will be sent to hundreds of schools around the south.
Irene Lee ‘14 received a silver medal for a small art competition she entered during her winter break from The Hill.
