After serving as an assistant field hockey coach for one season, Albright College has named Sarah Brant '06 the program's new head coach beginning in the 2012 season. Sarah also will serve as the college's director of athletic marketing.
Sarah has an extensive field hockey background. She played three years of varsity field hockey at The Hill and was a team captain during the 2005 season. She then went on to play four years for Division III power Ursinus College, during which time the team won four Centenial Conference championships; made four appearances in the NCAA tournament; and won the 2006 NCAA Championship.
She spent the 2010-11 school year at Frostburg State University, where she was an assistant field hockey coach, before moving on to Albright in 2011. She also is pursuing her Masters degree in Education while at Albright.
