You just celebrated your 65th Reunion! How was your time back on campus?
We were disappointed that more members of our class couldn’t come, but those who came to the reunion, all ten of us, had a wonderful time, particularly on Friday night when the Nelson's invited us to have dinner at their house.  It was a great opportunity to catch up with my classmates.

You have such a long history with The Hill, how has that impacted your life?
I was so fortunate to attend The Hill as a post-graduate and develop such good friendships with the faculty who were at The Hill at the time, particularly Dave Mercer and Frank Bissell.  They encouraged me to go to the University of Michigan where I played football and wrestled.  Then, I feel sure that they were instrumental in my being hired as a teacher at The Hill.   So, I spent 36 years teaching and coaching at The Hill.

Why is it important to stay connected to The Hill?
I’ve always been so proud of The Hill and am interested in what’s going on.  I am always willing to support The Hill in any way I can.

Do you have any advice to offer Hill alumni?
Try to stay connected to the school and with your classmates.  I have found great joy in still being a part of the school.
