Many thanks to the runners and volunteers who made the first annual Hobart’s Ram Run 5k a success! The race, which took place on Sunday, April 9, 2017, was a fundraiser for Hobart’s Run, a collaborative neighborhood improvement initiative launched by The Hill School to create a clean, safe, and inclusive community; strengthen Pottstown residential development; and generate positive, sustainable commercial and retail development.

Runners of all ages - including community members and Hill School students, parents, faculty, and staff - ran the 5k course which began with a lap around The Hill School Far Fields/William W. Hauser ’81 Track. Race participants ran through the scenic Hill School campus and the east end of Pottstown – primarily in the Hobart’s Run neighborhood – finishing at the Far Fields with a lap around the Hauser Track.

We are thankful to our local sponsors for supporting the race: Shelamandiam LLC, Scott & Susan Bentley Foundation, Lewis Environmental, Gatsby's Bar & Restaurant, Putt Family, Pottstown Memorial Medical Center, Right Now Property Solutions LLC, ZimRick Group, Costello Investments, Grumpy's Handcarved Sandwiches, Pottstown Area Industrial Dev, Olivet Boys' and Girls' Club, Matt Green at Glocker Realty, Destination Realty, Pottstown Housing Coalition, and Sodexo.

Timing was done by Pretzel City Sports. View the results of the run here.
