While the majority of Hill’s fall athletics teams will be taking on rival Lawrenceville on November 3, the boys’ and girls’ water polo teams will be participating in the Eastern Prep Championship tournament. The girls’ team enters the tournament as defending champions, while The Hill boys’ are the top overall seed in the boys’ bracket.
The boys’ tournament will take place over two days, beginning Saturday morning. All Saturday and Sunday morning games will be played at Baldwin School, while Sunday afternoon games will be split between Baldwin and Episcopal Academy. The complete Sunday schedule will be posted by the end of the day on Saturday.
Hill’s first game will be at 4 PM vs. the winner of the earlier Episcopal Academy vs. Gilman School game. Depending on Saturday’s result, Hill will either play in the semifinal on Sunday morning at 11 AM, or in a consolation game Sunday morning at 9 AM.
Results will be posted as games conclude throughout the weekend on the tournament webpage
All games in the girls’ tournament will be played throughout the day on Sunday at Penn Charter. The Hill girls’ enter the tournament as the third seed and will open against Penn Charter on Sunday at 11 AM in a rematch of last year’s championship game. The winner will advance to the tournament championship at 3:30 PM, while the losing team will play in the consolation game at 2:30 PM. Follow the girls’ water polo Twitter account
