||On Monday, January 21, The Hill School basketball and baseball teams will host youth clinics throughout the day. The basketball clinic will run from 9:30 – 11 a.m., and the baseball clinic will take place from 12:30 – 5:30 p.m.
Visitors attending either clinic should park in The Hill School Center For The Arts parking lot, located at 760 Beech Street. There will be signs directing visitors to Mercer Field House.
Players and coaches from The Hill boys’ and girls’ basketball teams will run the first clinic of the day, a free youth basketball clinic that is open to all boys and girls currently in grades K-8. Pre-registration for the clinic is not necessary. Clinic participants will hone their skills under the guidance of players and coaches from The Hill’s varsity boys’ and girls’ basketball teams.
Registration opens at 9:15 AM outside the entrance to The Hill School’s Mercer Field House. The clinic will begin at 9:30 a.m. and conclude at 11 a.m. Originally, all guests were invited to stay for the boys' basketball practice following the clinic, but due to the inclement weather forecast for Saturday, January 19 the boys' basketball game originally scheduled for that afternoon has been moved to Monday, January 21.
Then, from 12:30 – 5:30 p.m., The Hill baseball team will run a skills clinic in the Field House. The baseball clinic is open to all players between ages 10-18 and costs $65 per-participant. Under the tutelage of Hill coaches and varsity players, participants will learn techniques for and practice fielding, hitting, base running, pitching, and other baseball-related drills and skills that players can practice in the offseason. Participants may register in advance, or register as walk-in’s at the event.
