The Hill School's select male and female a cappella groups, the Hilltones and Hilltrebles, will perform at a benefit concert at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 21 at Rose Hall Camphill Village, Kimberton Hills. The concert is hosted by Veninos - Venezuelan Children In Need and Camphill Village and proceeds will benefit both of these organizations. The cost per ticket is $15 ($10 for students and senior citizens) or $25 for the concert and post-concert reception. In addition to the Hilltones and Hilltrebles, a lively program of music, song, and dance will feature Venezuelan folk music performed by the Casa De Venezuela Music Ensemble and accompanied by their vivacious dance group.
Founded by Ms. Jane Blake, Hill parent '05 and '08, the mission of Veninos - Venezuelan Children in Need is "to aid and protect disadvantaged children and young people from the poor urban areas of Venezuela."

In conjunction with the concert, Ms. Rebecca Blake '05, Hill's student activities coordinator, will collect old jeans from students, faculty, and staff during the week leading up to the concert to donate to Camphill Village where the community members will create beautiful rugs from the worn jeans. These rugs then will be sold at the Camphill Kimberton craft store to benefit the organization. A trip to the concert also will be offered as a weekend activities for Hill students interested in attending.
