Hill School PAISWT winners

The Hill's varsity wrestling team traveled to Westtown School on Sunday, Feb. 19 and Saturday, Feb. 20 to compete in the Pennsylvania Independent School State Wrestling Tournament. The Hill team finished seventh overall in the tournament and five student-athletes placed in the top six and advancing to the National Prep Wrestling Tournament at Lehigh University on Feb. 25-27.

Colin Saunders and Jack Sullivan both had second place finishes at 135 lbs. and 130 lbs. respectively. Jay Knighton '10 finished fourth in a very tough heavyweight class; Karl Wiszumerski finished fourth at 140 lbs; and Bob Dougherty battled to a sixth place finish at 171 lbs. after suffering an earlier injury under his eye.
