Dan Woolley graduated from the University of Richmond in 2005 and served as team manager of the men’s basketball team from 2002 to 2005. Unfortunately, Dan suffered from health complications and passed away in the fall of 2007. To honor his memory, Richmond’s Department of Athletics established the Dan Woolley Educational Fund through the University's Spider Club. This fund grants financial assistance to a senior athletic manager’s educational expenses from the men’s and women’s basketball programs each year.
