On December 29, the second day of Hill’s annual Symposia Days, the Chinese 3 Honors class students learned a Chinese song, articulated it, and collaboratively choreographed it for a video in a total of 90 minutes. The song is composed almost entirely of the most well-known Chinese 4-character idioms that are greetings and blessings in all celebratory occasions within the Chinese community. The students articulated and translated the idioms in the first part of the video, and performed with fantastic spirit of the song thereafter.
