Dear Members of The Hill School Community:
Please accept my thanks and respect for all that you did to make the events of yesterday here at the school so meaningful and successful. We were eager to support the Bush Family, the Pottstown Community, and the law enforcement fraternity, and we did so in a manner that made me very proud. Beginning on Friday evening and continuing through yesterday evening, many, many people turned to the task and worked generously and tirelessly. We of course noticed the special efforts of men and women of our Business Office and our Buildings and Grounds, Security, Communications, Center for the Arts and Arts Department, Academic Office, and Dining Hall staffs, and are especially grateful to them. And we know that everyone else, in graciously accommodating changes in our routine, maintaining an appropriate tone on campus, and welcoming thousands of visitors to the campus, made the day memorable. And indeed we want to remember it, as a day of thanks for the men and women who risk and give their lives for us and our well-being. Thanks again.
David Dougherty
