Ecuador may be thousands of miles from Pottstown, but this term, students from The Hill School are reaching out to children in the South American country through a unique program.
In 2007, under the direction of Ellen O. Nelson, Hill instructor of the arts, 16 advanced art students participated in the Memory Project, an outreach program for orphaned children around the world, by creating Memory Portraits, paintings done from digital pictures of orphaned and homeless children from Quator, Ecuador.
