The College Board’s AP Report to the Nation, which recognizes excellence in AP math and science, recently named The Hill School as having one of the highest student success rates in the state of Pennsylvania in Calculus AB. Fifty-four students qualified for scholar awards, 35 of them having earned at least a 3 on the Calculus AB test including 18 perfect scores.
In addition to recognizing the accomplishments of the students, the most outstanding teachers in Calculus AB at The Hill will be able to apply for the Siemens Award for AP Teachers. A $1,000 prize will be awarded to the winning teacher in each state who will then also have a chance to win $5,000 should the teacher win the Siemens National AP Teacher of the Year.
