During the second weekend of September, students at The Hill School enjoyed the campus carnival and participated in the Volleyball Challenge. The carnival took place on Saturday, September 12. The event was well attended and provided several forms of entertainment including a caricaturist, a magician, and a numerology palm reader. Students dined on cotton candy, popcorn, slushy drinks, and pizza. A live band also performed.
The Volleyball Challenge took place the following day, Sunday, September 13, on the far fields. Every dorm hall on campus was included in the event. Rolfe 2 won the girls' challenge and a team comprised of boys from various halls won the boys' bracket. The faculty team was defeated by both the girls' and boys' teams. Snow cones served as the refreshments of the afternoon, provided by Kona Cones. Both the carnival and the Volleyball Challenge were successful events among the students.
