The Chicago Chapter of the Alumni Association challenged Lawrenceville alumni in a toe-to-toe golf outing at Onwentsia Country Club in Lake Forest, Illinois on Friday, September 11. Led by team captains Rob Isham ’70 P ’05, Timm Reynolds ’64, and Tony McCormick ’71, The Hill School alumni battled against the Larries in a match play contest to win possession of the "Crooked Stick."
Despite our best efforts and careful strategizing by our clever team, the Blues lost to Lawrenceville (score to be left unstated). Undeterred, we promise to challenge them again next summer.
Thanks to Bill Harris ’68 for coming out and walking the course as our gallery. Drake Hooke ’82 won the award for coming the furthest, travelling from Mountainhome, Pennsylvania to play.
