Parents > The Hill School Parent Fund > 

What is The Hill School Parent Fund?  
The Parent Fund is the segment of The Hill Fund made up of gift by parents of current and past students. Our goal for the 2011-12 Parent Fund is $250,000 with 100% parent participation.

The Hill School relies on gifts to The Hill Fund to provide 10 percent of the current year's operating costs. These crucial funds allow the School to ensure that each student benefits from an exceptional learning environment in the classroom, on the stage, in the dormitories, and on the playing field.

Your contribution to the 2011-2012 Hill Fund will help support the School in one or more of the following ways:
  • By encouraging the retention of the School’s dedicated teachers through greatly needed renovations and additions to on-campus faculty residences.

  • By allocating funds to maintain Blackboard, a web-based academic program faculty and students use to share assignments; provide digital SmartBoards and projection systems; and other resources that keep The Hill in the forefront of technology and assist in our students’ learning.

  • By enabling the School to provide new furniture for the dormitory common rooms, providing a warm and comfortable environment where students may study and build relationships with fellow students and dorm parents.

  • By helping us purchase new vans for the safe transportation of students and faculty to and from campus for athletic events, cultural affairs, and religious and social activities.

  • By providing financial aid to those students whose chance of attending The Hill would not be possible without our support.
