| Colbath Track |
Named in honor of Henry Colbath, long-time track coach and science instructor, the 400-meter Colbath Track is where The Hill's track and field teams practice and compete in home meets, including several large invitational or relay meets, and the Mid-Atlantic Prep League (MAPL) Championship. It is set near the center of campus, surrounded by the Wendell, Dell Village, and Foster and Rolfe dormitories; the Classroom Building; and the Ryan Library. Its central location attracts many spectators.
First-class facilities for all field events, including pole vault, high jump, long jump, triple jump, shot-put, discus, and javelin meet or exceed all NFHS standards. The track also is available for training and recreational uses by members of the entire Hill community and other Hill sports teams. During the fall season, the field inside the track is the site of the boys' and girls' varsity soccer games.
