Kirk '04 lands collegiate coaching job
Following a highly successful first season as a high school coach, former Hill basketball standout Alex Kirk '04 has been appointed the head men's basketball coach at Clark College.
Heyliger '12 signs with Division II power Stonehill College
Four boys' basketball players received special team awards for the 2011-12 season.
The Don Ronnie Award: Sam Norton '15
"Given in honor of Don Ronnie, Head Basketball Coach from 1955 to 1992. This award
recognizes the sub-varsity player whose hard work, dedication, and improvement has
contributed to the achievement of his team."
Charge Award: Jerome Alexander '12
"To the player with the most charges on the season."
Coaches' Award for Improvement: Adam Regensburg '13
"Given to that member of the Varsity Boys Basketball Team who has shown the greatest
improvement."
The Thompson Bowl Award: Josh Heyliger '12
"Presented to The Hill by Dr. and Mrs. Lawrence K. Thompson, III, and sons, L.K., IV, ’78,
and Mark B., ’82. Given to that member of The Hill School Basketball Team, elected by his
teammates, who has distinguished himself in all phases of the program."
