In celebration of Valentine's Day, Hill’s select all-male and all- female a cappella groups, the Hilltones and Hilltrebles, serenaded classmates and faculty with singing Valentines. On Monday, Feb. 14 "Big Brothers" and "Big Sisters" gathered with their "Little Brothers" and "Little Sisters" to make ice cream sundaes in the Student Center. On Friday, Feb. 18 third and fourth form students in Hill's Technology and Information Management (TIM) class gave presentations on topics including cyber bullying, cyber socializing, and Web 2.0. Also on Friday, Mr. Joseph Noll, the 90-year-old great-uncle of Will Hering ’11, talked with World War II history term course students about his experience as a 25-year-old U.S. Marine who participated in the landing and capture of Iwo Jima.
