Interactive presentation of T'ai Chi sponsored by Confucius Classroom
The Hill welcomed students to a T'ai Chi presentation sponsored by the Confucius Classroom
on March 23, 2011, at The Hill School’s Gillison Court.
Betsey Chapman, T’ai Chi and Martial Arts Professor at Ursinus College, and Sarah Gellhorn, Master Level Instructor at the Malvern Martial Arts & Fitness Center and José Johnson’s Martial Arts and Wellness Center in Harrisburg, led the presentation. In addition to explaining some of the philosophy behind the practice of T’ai Chi or "Taijiquan" it included contemporary interpretations of the Chinese language and terminology it employs.
