On Monday, May 2, the boys' golf team took time out of their normal practice routine to help repair the tee boxes and driving range, both heavily used areas, at their home course, Brookside Country Club. Work continued to be done on the newly planted Headmaster's Herb Garden. Sustainability Coordinator Marie Fechik-Kirk, Kara Beckman '13, and Art Department head Ellen Nelson made signs that were placed in the garden. In response to the recent tragic events in Japan, several members of The Hill Community organized a Japan Relief Fundraiser that was held throughout the week, culminating with an event Saturday night where those who donated to the effort ate sushi, had the opportunity to make origami, and participated in Kareoke singing. Finally, several athletic teams had home contests throughout the week.
