The Hill School's sports medicine facility
The prevention and treatment of injuries to our student-athletes is our top priority. The recognition and treatment of injuries to student-athletes must be immediate as well. It is to this end that we employ two full- time, on-site, athletic trainers (ATC) to provide medical care for all of The Hill's student-athletes. Under the direction of our school physician, Dr. Steve Evans, the ATC's are responsible for developing emergency action plans and establishing medical protocols and procedures for each sporting event.
The sports medicine facility is located in the lower level of Sweeney Gymnasium next to Gillison Court. At least one athletic trainer is available for all home practices and all athletic events throughout the school year.
