Squash at The Hill School has been a popular winter sport for many years. With seven courts in full use - including a showcase three-glass-wall court - squash has produced some great excitement and success in our MAPL League and against top area prep schools. Several varsity players have been accepted to top colleges, including Princeton, Penn, Tufts, and Franklin and Marshall. Many of our players also compete in tennis in the spring and develop their racquet skills for both sports, becoming well-rounded student-athletes. Some die-hard players compete in several local tournaments to achieve a ranking and compete against the strongest juniors in the country; we also work on the basics of learning the sport in an instructional-level squash course.
Our courts are used year-round and are popular within our community. In 2005, we started a program for kids, which included a summer camp taught by some of our talented sixth form student-athletes. We hope to continue to build the program and compete at the highest level for years to come.
