Sustainability at The Hill

The Hill School has embarked on a sustainability initiative and there are a number of  campus activities related to energy, water, recycling, and more. For example, the School recently completed an energy consumption analysis and is exploring "green" options for the upcoming faculty housing project.  We added electronics, batteries, cell phones, and printer cartridges to our recycling program, and posted "Please turn out lights" and "Please don't waste water" stickers and recycling instructions around campus.  One dorm is testing out water faucet filters to see if they can cut back on buying bottled water and each dorm room now has a recycling bin, which will make recycling even more convenient.  More work is planned, so please be sure to visit our site often!  View our longterm Sustainability Vision.
