Learning Resources for members of The Hill community
Welcome to The Hill School's Learning Resources.  You will find links to college-level resources available to all Hill students. The Hill School subscribes to these databases so we can offer our students the best possible resources that contain content not available on Google or any other search engine.

Academy: Academy (or Moodle) is The Hill School's new course management system that allows teachers to create effective online learning sites. Ryan Library is in the process of migrating all links and resources to The Hill School’s Academy Page (or Moodle.) To see up to date links to learning resources go to the The Ryan Library Page which is linked off of Academy (Moodle).  If you are already signed in, the page will appear with no difficulty. However, if you are not signed in, you will get an error. In that case, sign in using the login area at the top right side of the Moodle page. Once you are logged into Moodle, you will be allowed to view the page.

Blackboard:   Blackboard is the web-based, e-learning solution for students, faculty, and families of The Hill School. Faculty can host online courses; communicate quickly and easily with students; and post lecture notes, assignments, links to pertinent websites, and other materials.

RefWorks: Refworks replaces NoodleTools as the way to organize citations and create MLA or APA bibliographies. Please sign into The Hill School Academy Page and go to the Ryan Library page link in the top left corner of the page. You must be signed into Moodle to view this page. Once you are on the page, follow the directions to create your account. There are tutorials attached there as well.
