The opening of our 2023-24 academic year was filled with activities and events including new student orientation activities, adviser meetings and seated meals, a historic Convocation, first full class days and afternoon activities, and Chapel orientation in the CFTA.
The Hill School celebrated the first-ever “Friday Night Lights” football game and dedication of Madden Stadium, our new state-of-the-art multi-sport facility, on September 8, 2023.

The Hill School is mourning the loss of Dana Hunter, associate director of admission, who passed away the evening of August 17. A service honoring Dana will be held on Saturday, August 26 at The Hill School.
John Fath joins The Hill after graduating from The University of Pennsylvania this past year. He brings years of tennis experience to Hill and is eager to build upon an already strong program.

Nine Pottstown-area nonprofits received funding for specific projects from The Hill School's Student Philanthropy Council: Berks Connections Pretrial Services, The Foundation for Pottstown Education, Montgomery Child Advocacy Project, Mother Goose Read to Me, Pottstown FARM, Pottstown Historical Society, Project Purpose, Schuylkill River Greenways, and Steel River Playhouse.
During the 2022-23 academic year, seven students in The Hill’s pilot class of Quadrivium Scholars participated in an innovative course created by Mr. Jared Courtney, Dean of the Shirley Quadrivium Center.

Jillian Richards '23, Adelyn Sim '24, and Nash Basile '25 were award the Purchase Prize for their artwork.
Diemmy Dang '24 received a national Gold Medal in the American Voices category and Aidan Ma '23 received a national Silver Medal.
Thirty-six members of The Hill School Class of 2023 will be continuing their athletic careers in college for the upcoming fall season.
