After racing in the Mid-Atlantic Prep League (MAPL) championship crew event in New Jersey the day prior, Michael Rapp '24, Colin McLenaghan '24, Max Labaczewski '25, and Nate Whittemore '23, competed in the Philadelphia Scholastic Rowing Association (PSRA) City Championships event on Sunday, May 7, 2023.  

The quartet capped off a strong weekend by coming home with gold and bronze medals for the Varsity Pair races! Labaczewski and Whittemore took first place and were named the Philadelphia City Champions; Rapp and McLenaghan secured a third-place win.

Labaczewski and Whittemore’s win automatically qualifies them for the United States Rowing Youth Nationals event, which will take place in Sarasota, Fla. on June 8-11, 2023.
