The Hill School Arts Department celebrated student creativity at the Winter Afternoon Arts Music Recital and Art Exhibit on February 17, 2026, in the Daniel Titus Band Room. The evening wove together musical performances and a visual art exhibit in an intimate and inspiring showcase.

Pianist Norah Chen '29 performed the works by Franz Schubert and Claude Debussy, demonstrating exceptional classical technique. Singer-songwriter Martina Chai '27 captivated the audience with two original songs, "Nobody Knows" and "Voicemail Box," the latter performed with drummer Minjae Yoon ’27. Guitarist Silas Ladavac '29 rounded out the performances with a moving rendition of Jeff Buckley's "Hallelujah."

Woven throughout the evening was a visual art exhibition featuring the work of two talented artists. Abby Andersen '29 presented her acrylic painting series Idioms, exploring themes of food, the human body, and animals. Gabby Haffenden '29 displayed four works in acrylic and colored pencil, including "Turtles," "Head Space," "Train," and "Petunias."

Congratulations to all students for a memorable and inspiring evening!
