Hill School Student-Artists Receive Recognition for Artwork

Hill School student-artists Chloe Han '22 and Adelyn Sim '24 were recently acknowledged by national and international contests for their artwork.

Chloe won the first-place prize in the 2021 EXCA Awards (painting category) for her painting, "Matisse and Grandfather." The EXCA award is an international art award that seeks to search artists from wide age groups all around the world and support them with exhibitions and publications.

Adelyn's painting, “Target,” was selected as a winner of the Celebrating Art Contest, a national contest that promotes and celebrates student artists in grades K through 12. Her artwork will be featured in the yearly anthology published by Celebrating Art.
