Student Artists Receive Local Recognition

Two Hill School students - Claire Hartemink '21 and Elizabeth Hudak '21 - were recognized for their artwork submitted to Imprint 2019, The Wharton Esherick Museum's 10th annual high school print competition. Claire and Elizabeth were among the 120 high school students from Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia Counties to submit pieces this year. A jury of Museum staff and professional artists selected 18 finalists and prize winners for the exhibition.

Claire’s print, “Zeeschildpad,” won a second place cash award. Elizabeth's print, “Catch of the Day,” was a finalist (and also received an Award of Excellence at the 2019 Montgomery County Community College Tri-County High School Art Exhibit).

Imprint 2019 is on display in the Museum's Visitor Center March 2 – May 26 and is free to the public.
