Help Hill Support the Coldest Night of the Year Campaign

Hobart’s Run is rallying behind the Coldest Night of the Year (CNOY) campaign again this year and needs support from The Hill School in doing so. CNOY raises awareness and funds addressing homelessness and, in particular, to raise money for Pottstown Beacon of Hope. In addition to fundraising, a walk will be held in Pottstown on February 22 to show support for the cause and community. Make a donation here

Last year, the Hobart’s Helpers team led by Harry Whaley ’25 and Anders Mortenson ’24 raised $4,558.90, well surpassing the team goal of $2,000. This year, Harry will help lead the team with help from Grace Carroll ’26. All Hill community members are encouraged to participate in the CNOY walk. In 2024, several sports teams participated in the walk including baseball and girls’ lacrosse.

The Pottstown community is especially affected by this cause as 15 percent of the population in the borough of Pottstown live at or below the federal poverty line. Please consider joining this effort by donating and, if possible, walking with other community members on February 22. That day, the Hobart’s Helpers team will meet at the King St. and Bailey St. gate at 4 p.m. and walk together to the YWCA for registration and the step-off.
