The Hill School Celebrates its 171st Commencement Exercises

On Saturday, May 28, 2022, The Hill School celebrated its 171st Baccalaureate and Commencement exercises. During the ceremony, 139 students received their Hill School diplomas.

Prior to the Commencement ceremony, the Baccalaureate service was held in the Alumni Chapel where Head of School Zachary G. Lehman P’16 ’18 addressed the sixth form class. The Class of 2022 then processed through a faculty gauntlet outside the Ryan Library, led by Senior Master Teacher of Science Mark Nelson P’10 ‘13, Commencement Marshall, with the ceremonious sounds of bagpipes filling the air.

During the Commencement ceremony, the graduates were addressed by Mr. Lehman; Taylor Folk ’22, Sixth Form Commencement Speaker; and Edward C. Congdon '04 Senior Master Teacher of English Ned Ide P’09 ’13, who delivered this year's commencement address.
