The Hill School Invites Community Members to Holiday On-Campus Events
The Hill School Orchestra on stage performing during the holidays

The Hill School invites members of the Pottstown community to two special holiday events being held on campus in the Center For The Arts main theatre and Alumni Chapel. Both events are free and open to the public (parking at 760 Beech St., Pottstown). Note: Hobart's Run will be collecting "winter warming" items at both events. Details are listed at the bottom of this article.

On Friday, December 12 at 7:15 p.m. Hill School musicians will take the stage to perform their annual Winter Holiday Instrumental Concert. The Orchestra and Jazz Ensemble, led by Director of Instrumental Music and Senior Master Teacher of the Arts Margie Neiswender P’22 ’23, will entertain the audience with a variety of holiday favorites, including “A Christmas Medley, "Polar Express,” “Deck the Halls,” and “Jingle Bell Rock.” Please join us for a night filled with holiday spirit and music.

On Monday, December 15, at 7:15 p.m. The Hill will host its annual Candlelight Service of Lessons and Carols. An organ prelude to the service will take place from 6:45 - 7:15 p.m. This beautiful holiday service features the congregational singing of traditional Christmas carols, readings of scripture by members of the Hill community, and musical offerings by the Hill Chamber Choir and Chorus, the Hilltones and Hilltrebles, and the Hill Community Choir comprised of students, employees, alumni, parents, and siblings. Please join us for a night of worship and holiday spirit.

Community Collection

Hobart's Run will be collecting "winter warming" items for all ages during these two holiday events: new warm hats, socks, scarves, and coats. Items may be placed in the labeled bins placed in the CFTA and Chapel. Thank you in advance for your support.
