The Hill School is happy to announce that Richard L. Voliva III ’95 was appointed to the Board of Trustees during their spring session held June 5-7, 2026, in conjunction with Reunion Weekend.

Mr. Voliva is a private investor focused on cyclical and commodity industries. From 2014 to 2022, he served in several executive roles, including Chief Financial Officer at HF Sinclair Corporation, an independent petroleum refining, pipeline, and renewables company. Before HF Sinclair, he spent 15 years as an equity and commodity investor and analyst, primarily in the energy space.

Mr. Voliva holds a B.A. from Harvard University in Economics and Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations, an M.A. in International Relations from the School of Advanced International Studies at Johns Hopkins University, and is a CFA Charterholder. He lives in Hobe Sound, Florida, with his wife and their two sons.
