Nestled in the ground floor of Sweeney Gymnasium is the room in which all Hill School varsity athletics teams aspire to have their team photo hung: the Trophy Room. Inside the Trophy Room are photos, trophies, and other mementos commemorating the School’s illustrious athletic history and its greatest teams and individuals. Each spring, the Hall of Fame Committee votes on teams for Trophy Room induction. On Wednesday, May 20, 2026, during the annual Dial Dedication ceremony, three teams were inducted into the Trophy Room for their outstanding seasons (see photos below). 

Girls’ Ice Hockey | Exeter Invitational and Hill Invitational Tournament Champions

The Hill Girls’ Ice Hockey team was crowned tournament champions twice during the 2025-26 winter season. On December 14, 2025, the team defeated Phillips Exeter Academy 2-1 to win the Exeter Invitational. On February 22, 2026, the team defeated Ontario Hockey Academy 4-1 to win the Hill Invitational Tournament. Hill Girls' Ice Hockey earned an impressive 21 wins on the season.

Boys’ Basketball | PAISAA Champions

On February 27, 2026, The Hill Boys’ Basketball team defeated The Phelps School during the Pennsylvania Athletics Independent School Athletics Association (PAISAA) championship game 74-56. The team also earned 24 wins this season, the second-most in School history.

Hill Softball | PAISAA Finalists

Hill Softball has had an historic year! Their 12 wins are the most by any softball team in School history. They will look to add to their most wins record when they face Episcopal Academy on May 21, 2026 in the Pennsylvania Athletics Independent School Athletics Association (PAISAA) Championship.
