Two Hill School Students Among Winners of the 2025 Congressional Art Competition

Congratulations to Sydney Saracene '25 and Kayleigh Ludwig '25, who are among the winners of the 2025 Congressional Art Competition for the Fourth District of Pennsylvania sponsored by Congresswoman Madeleine Dean.

"A Light in the Dark," a digital photography piece by Sydney received second place honors. Kayleigh won an Honorable Mention Award for her digital photography work, "When Worlds Collide." Their artwork will be on display in the U.S. Capital for one year.

Each year, the U.S. House of Representatives sponsors a high school Congressional Art Competition, the Artistic Discovery Contest, to recognize and encourage artistic talent in the nation and in each congressional district.

A reception will be held on May 27 from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Abington Art Center to celebrate their awards.
