Two Hill Track and Field Student-Athletes Break School Records

Two more Hill School records have been broken, thanks to standout performances by indoor track and field student-athletes Trevon Foster '26 and Abby Gerdeman '26.

Foster, marking his third record-breaking performance of the season, set a new School record in the 55m hurdles at the 2025 New York International Showcase on January 24-25, 2025. He shattered his own record—set earlier this season—with a blazing time of 7.19 seconds. This achievement ranks him second in Pennsylvania and fourth in the nation in the event.

Gerdeman, a key member of The Hill School's 2022 and 2024 Pennsylvania Independent Schools Athletic Association (PAISAA) Field Hockey Championship-winning teams, etched her name in the Hill record books on Sunday, February 1, with a dominant run in the 3200m event. Competing against Pottstown High School, Westtown School, and Pottsgrove High School, she clocked in at 12:28.80, surpassing Brandy Gonzales’ '04 2003 record of 12:43.2.
