A Year of Celebration
Founded in 1851 by The Rev. Matthew Meigs, The Hill School celebrates its yearlong 175th Anniversary and launches its Strategic Plan. The 175th Celebration will culminate with the Forever Blue gala at Reunion 2027. This year, we will honor Hill’s enduring traditions, remarkable people, the lasting impact of a Hill education, and the School’s future, as outlined in its Strategic Plan: The People, The Place, The Journey.
Virtual Harkness Table Series
First Thursday of Each Month
Join fellow members of The Hill community for the Virtual Harkness Table Series. Through engaging dialogue, expert insight, and shared inquiry, participants will explore topics that inspire curiosity and lifelong learning. Illuminate: Hill Arts at 175
Friday, February 26, 2027, at 7:15 p.m.
Illuminate will feature performances across music, dance, theatre, and visual art, culminating in a piece that brings all disciplines together on one stage to commemorate 175 years of Hill. This event will be held in the Center For The Arts; admission is free.
175th Anniversary Podcast Series
October 2026 - May 2027
Associate Head of School Ari Baum and Emma Fang '27 and Slater Frank '27 take listeners through the School's history in conversations with faculty, alumni, and trustees. Eight episodes will run monthly, tracing Hill from its founding in 1851 to its next chapter. Available on Apple Podcasts and Spotify on October 22.
FOREVER BLUE
The 175th Anniversary Gala
Forever Blue is the signature event and grand finale of the 175th Anniversary year. Our entire community is invited to gather for an elegant evening of celebration. We encourage all alumni to return for Reunion 2027 and participate in a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to celebrate our beloved School.
